Test the material. Then choose the screen.
Use samples to narrow your material choice, then confirm the finished screen separately.
- Use your actual setup. Keep the projector mode, image size, content and room light the same for each comparison.
- Compare from your normal seats. Keep samples flat and correctly oriented. Swap their positions to check whether position changes your preference.
- Separate the questions. Compare brightness preference, surface texture and visible speckle separately. Include both daytime and evening conditions if you use both.
What a sample cannot confirm
A small material sample does not demonstrate full-screen uniformity, installed flatness, a motorized mechanism or complete-system acoustic performance. It cannot evaluate a directional ALR material that is not included in the pack.
Before buying the full-size screen
Confirm the material, size, installation format and delivery arrangement for that screen. Finished-screen installation and delivery specifications are not specifications for this sample pack.
