Its fine woven acoustic transparent surface allows speakers to be placed behind the screen, so dialogue and sound effects come naturally from the image itself. Compared with darker grey acoustic transparent materials, TW is designed to preserve more brightness and a cleaner, more open image — making it a strong choice for large screens and modern bright projectors.

For RGB triple-laser projectors, TW also helps reduce visible laser speckle, especially compared with many standard matte white screens or wall projection surfaces. It is a practical choice for users who want acoustic transparency, strong brightness, and a smoother image without moving to a darker grey screen.

TW vs 3W vs 3C

TW is the brighter acoustic transparent option. Choose TW if you need speakers behind the screen and want to keep more brightness and image openness.

3W is a grey woven acoustic transparent material. Choose 3W if you want a slightly deeper and more controlled image in a dark theater, but it will be darker than TW.

3C is not acoustic transparent. Choose 3C if you do not need speakers behind the screen and your main goal is stronger anti-speckle performance for RGB triple-laser projectors.

Important note

TW is designed mainly for dark rooms and controlled-light home theaters. It is not a structured ALR screen. If your room has strong ambient light or direct light on the screen, a dedicated ALR material may be a better choice.
