A matte grey surface designed to reduce visible RGB-laser speckle, for movie nights in controlled light.

THE FILM ENDS. THE ROOM RETURNS.
The screen retracts into its housing. The cabinet, cable route and access still need a place in your plan.

Not sure it fits? Check my setup ↗Current 3C uses an improved, higher-gain material compared with first-production 3C 1.0. Earlier reviews may show that first version. Speckle reduction varies with the projector and viewing conditions; a completely speckle-free image is not guaranteed.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT STRENGTH
The useful comparison starts with your projector, your light and how the room is used.

EXPERIENCE, WITH CONTEXT
Selected feedback from one 3C floor-rising owner, with four separate perspectives from 3C fixed-frame owners.
Owners describe less distracting speckle—and the brightness and setup trade-offs worth checking for your projector.
Read the reviews below ↓James reports less laser speckle than with his previous screen.
Great Picture Quality. Reduced the Laser Speckle problem I was having with my previous screen!
Projector, room conditions and material batch were not stated. This is an owner’s experience, not a comparative lab test.
Source product ↗Eric describes reduced—but remaining—speckle with a Valerion Max, strong black levels and helpful service. He also reports difficulty removing corner wrinkles.
Fixed-frame installation feedback does not describe this floor-rising mechanism. His material batch was not confirmed; earlier 3C reviews can concern the first-production material.
Source product ↗Nik reports less speckle and deeper blacks, but dimmer, greyer highlights with his XGIMI Horizon 20 Max.
His viewing preferences and material batch differ from a controlled test. Check a sample with your own projector; this feedback is not evidence that 3C is an ALR screen.

Anonymous · 5/5 · 4 Aug 2026: reports relief from visible sparkling with an RGB projector. Michael Werthmann · 4/5 · 6 Jul 2026: describes reduced speckle, a black-level trade-off and missing frame threads. Both are fixed-frame reviews, with unconfirmed material batches; neither proves zero speckle for every setup.
PICTURE. HOUSING. ROOM TO MOVE.
Start with the picture size. Then plan for the whole screen, including the space it needs to rise.

Your selected size · 16:9
Approximate picture width × height, calculated from the 16:9 diagonal. Housing and black borders are additional.
We’ll confirm your custom picture dimensions and the overall screen drawing before you order.
Measure the full case length and depth—not only the picture. Keep the supporting surface level and leave access to the power connection.
Planning diagram only. Exact dimensions depend on your configuration.
Start at the surface supporting the housing. Check the full raised height and keep the path of the moving screen clear.
Side-view schematic—not to scale. Confirm the drawing before building furniture.
